These stamps were produced by the Polish Committee Dachau-Allach om 1st November 1945. They are inscribed 'Polish Political Prisoners Out Of Gratitude' with the United States flag above a Polish shield.

Allach was a sub-camp of Dachau concentration camp where many Polish prisoners were kept to do slave labour. It was liberated by the Americans on 22nd April 1945.

The sheets were issued to raise money for the Polish Red Cross.
