SANDY ISLAND IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION.

Founded and operated by the late Signor Fabio Vaccarezza from Milan for some years, this island now seeks a new Postmaster and Operator.

The successful applicant should be a philatelist, keen to operate an ephemeral island, and use it for possible literary purposes and to engage in postal relations with other Fifth World lands.  The successful applicant will be sent a stock of the previous Sandy Island stamps (most of which can be seen http://www.cinderellastampsforum.com/sandy-island-stamps_topic1332.html?KW=Sandy+Island" rel="nofollow - here ).

The island already holds a membership of the https://www.angelfire.com/art/icis/" rel="nofollow - International Council of Independent States , (the Fifth World's version of the "United Nations"), and a stamp-printing agreement with the https://www.angelfire.com/art/okusi/kdpn1.htm" rel="nofollow - KDPN , who are happy to continue to supply the new owner.

Expressions of interest may be sent to

The Secretary-General,
International Council of Independent States,
P.O. Box 876,
Auckland,
New Zealand 1140.

I'd be very interested in doing this (unless someone's already successfully applied).

I sent an e-mail a few days ago - hopefully you've received it.

Sadly, Sandy Island has already been allocated to a new proprietor.

But you could still go ahead and create your own land.  Should you do so, I'd be happy to assist with stamp-production and perfing.

regards, Bruce.
