The latest Isle of Vue St Valentine's Day issue is now available on eBay.

This year we feature the Isle of Vue Love Birds, as featured in the very, very, very hard-to-find book The Flora and Fauna of Laernu.  The birds pair for life and spend most of their time together, inspiring the stamps' theme of 'Together Forever'.

I am very pleased to report that the most excellent Alan Batley agreed to be roped in to providing the central illustration for this issue.

There are single stamps; sheets of 20 stamps (with a variant); a DL cover; a DL special cover featuring standard stamps and variant; a Valentine's Day card and an archive proof.

There is a Bonus Item for ALL forum members; a Bonus Item for orders over £35; and a Bonus Item for the first 20 buyers for orders over £25.

The eBay listing runs for 10 days only, but the stamps and other items will be available (PM me here) until they run out.

Thanks Andy

Many of the previous year's stamps are still available, though you may have to give me a couple of days to find them!

Thanks also to Keith for his excellent website - where would be without it? Trying to describe our old designs would be a nightmare!

 . . . Indeed.

I have just been making album space for this years stamps, and it occured to me that since 2006, these Valentine stamps of Colins have maintained such a high standard of design, production and distribution that we have come to take as accepted.
I also think that I might have a definitive collection Big smile - something I have never succeeded with any other stamps in the past. (Oh! I know the Sportens keep popping up, but I stand by my statement.) Wink

So well done Colin, again - and if you say so, well done Alan too. Wink

PS. In sorting through, I did notice a tiny similarity of shape and design between this year's Lovebirds and an earlier Cabbage Issue. Only joking. Big smile)

Just ran out of single stamps but have added some more now...

Please note that there are now only 2 'Early Bird' bonus items left.

Thanks to everyone who has bought this issue. All orders placed up until 14:00 on Thursday have now been packed and posted.

Nice problem to have though! (I assume "ran out" meant "ebay listing ran out of stock" rather than "ran out of actual stamps and had to knock a few more out on the laser printer" LOL)

My package arrived safely this morning. Lovely stamps showing again how well Colin and Alan seem to complement each other. Great bonus items (I won't give anything away until others have received/reported their deliveries). Nice back story as well. No problem spotting the sport this year.
