I have noticed a few people checking in here and on Facebook to see if there is anything issued for the annual Valentine's Day stamps.
So to let you all know that there will be no issue today - HOWEVER - I am working towards a release date of March 14th, which will see the full 2024 issue released... stamps, sheets, proofs, and covers with a couple of extras just to say a big thank you for your patience. In the meantime, have a great Valentine's Day!

No problem Colin. I can wait another month, because I know you will spend some of that time perfecting the issue. You are not one to say 'that'll do'. Any release from you is keenly awaited here.
Anyway, between now and then comes Pancake Day. That will tide me over and cheer me up. |

I am very sorry to say there is still some way to go before this issue is completed.
I am today picking up some extra printed pieces and these will also need to be hand-finished and perforated before they are ready for release, but there are also some of the core elements to be finished yet and it is a case of fitting those around my workload. Bear with me, I know you'll love it when it's done!

I have been working overseas so have been missing out on Colin's cindies for a couple of years and am trying to catch up now with what I might have missed.
Did the 2023, 2024 or 2025 Valentine's ever get released? I could look at ebay where I was posted but not actually buy anything due to the political regime there so the fun of checking-in soon wore off.

The 2023 and 2024 Isle of Vue stamps were issued, but not 2025. I suspect that whatever Colin was working on may be put back to 2026. I have been covering both Isle of Vue and All Hallows stamps with catalogue style listings in the Cinderella Philatelist magazine. The next issue will take All Hallows stamps up to last year, but article had gone to press just before the Ghosties were announced.
You have jogged my memory. I really need to update my Laernu & More website, which gives a resume' of all these issues. |

It IS proceeding, but a variety of distractions continue to impede progress, not least my mother having a fall and breaking her wrist and the 'good' hip that had not already been replaced. She is 87 and has a house full of stuff - knitting, crafting, painting, gardening - all the hobbies that an 87 year old woman might want to dibble in, periodically scattered around in mid-completion (sounds eerily familiar?) which now require moving in order for her occupational therapy team to agree to her to come home, and for accessibility aids to be fitted to walls and floors so that she will be able to manoeuvre around with walking frame or wheelchair. She is making great progress though, and hopefully I will be able to get back to normal soon and back to the land of Laernu and the Isle of Vue, 'proper' design work permitting.

Laernu and Isle of Vue is the proper design work. The other stuff just pays for it. |
