French religious stamps - Help

   I've had these for some time, and they have just resurfaced from that box where unsorted stamps lurk.
They are Freanch, they are religious, but does anybody know what their purpose was. I suspect fund raising post WWI but my Frensh is very very limited. Whatever, I like them and am always attracted to mixed sheets like these.

	I have this sheet too, it came loose in a folder. This is what I discovered: La Procure Missionnaire de l’Assomption - The Procure Missionary of the Assumption A religious and humanitarian organisation founded in 1901 by the congregation of the Augustinians of the Assumption. These stamps, printed by Institut de Gravure in Paris, were probably produced just after the Second World War. The sheet was folded and contained in this loose booklet cover. The organisation is still located at the Paris address shown on the booklet. The stamps depict religious and historical figures and other religious themes.

	This give a better view of the horizontal stamps.
