Milk chocolate is said to have been created by Daniel Peter in Switzerland. His company merged with Kohler in in 1904 and Cailler in 1911, before coming under the control of Nestle in 1929. All these names can be found on the sets of stamps issued from the 1920s through to the 1950s. There are at least 120 sets of 12 stamps. Here are five with breeds of goats, breeds of sheep, garden birds, birds of paradise and domestic fowl.despite their age they have kept their colours well. There was even a giant album for them all.
