Well, I say VINTAGE Laernu stamps but maybe RETRO would be more accurate (as its not 2027 yet)

If you can remember some stamps from 2007 then this 2024 version is not only new and improved but with brighter colours, and twice as many as before

But the most startling fact is that a certain member of this community has released an edition of St Valentine's Day Cinderella stamps BEFORE February the 14th !!!!      LOL

They are beautiful (of course)
with an intricate background (somewhat similar to the old fashioned pound notes) and a central image of a Heart shaped....vegetable !
Rather than post a picture here - I suggest you look here instead

Spoiler Spoiler

I hasten to add these are NOT the Isle of Vue 2024 stamps (which are rumoured to be appearing soon(ish) )

Just ordered these and looking forward to the postperson's knock.

Meanwhile the next edition of the Cinderella Philatelist will include part one of a catalogue listing all isle of Vue stamps, associated issues, and a mention of all the emphemera. Hopefully I can continue this with five more IoV issues per edition of the mag taking it up to 2025

I’ve ordered mine.  I’m now off to sit by the letter box.

It feels weird that they have been issued before Valentines Day! Well done Colin. 😃

Thanks Steve, it is always weird to see my stamps being featured in the CP, it's a bit of an out-of-body experience, but I am very grateful that my little bits of paper are being recorded for future collectors to see.

I think I ought to say right now that there is no possibility of the actual 2024 Isle of Vue issue being published on the 14th or before, unfortunately 'proper' work has intervened and Alan and I are very sorry but it will have to be issued late.

Stay tuned for an update in a couple of weeks    Big smile

Gosh!  That was quick!  Thanks Colin.

You are quite right, I do have the originals.  Somewhere!  Maybe one day I’ll find them all 🙄

All my Isle of Vues are now in albums and luckily most were in one of two places. Getting them all sorted properly though was a task and a half.
