Did anybody get any interesting items in their Bonus Envelope?

Looking to see if there's anything to be added to the Askme web pages. I found an impeforate Penny Black and a tete-beche pair from the Festival of Hats set, amongst other nice items.

Mine didn't stay in the bonus envelope long and I didn't keep a note of exactly what came out but I think it was the following:
  • an Isle of Vue Valentine's 2008 common triangle
  • an Isle of Vue Valentine's 2009 common red rose ("passionate devotion") with label on right
  • an Isle of Vue Valentine's 2011 vertical tete-beche sport pair of the alternate design
  • a 5F "Egyptians" Laernu regional (no sports reported here - shurely shome mishtake! - so presumably a common)
  • a 2F "Bats" Laernu quadrant large format
  • a 1F "Snakehead" Laernu festival of hats common
  • a Penny Blank inverted Victoria silhouette head (which goes rather nicely with one I had from the original Penny Blank issue which is a vertical reflection mirror image of it)
  • a Halloween 2009 prototype inscribed "la Mort de Timbres"
  • a couple of Stonehenge stamps (the 1 degree West and the .11 seconds West) - I think both commons, the 1 degree West certainly is but, as the .11 seconds West sport remains unreported, I can't be sure on that one)
I think that was all but I can't be 100% sure.

I just can't wait to get my Valentine's stamps from Colin at the weekend...  And looking forward to meeting other collectors too. Do we bring trades? I have lots of Discworld stamps I could take with me if anyone is interested.

I was planning to have my Laernu/Isle of Vue/All Hallows Post Office/Penny Blank/Miscellaneous Colin Edwards collection with me with spares and I could bring my DW stamps spares along as well if anyone wants to look them over and see if there's anything they want.

Ha, ha, that's almost as pedantic as me in terms of interpreting my post. Tongue

Let me rephrase.

And, just to be extra clear, anyone getting any funny ideas about filching from the main collection gets splurged with the custard gun!

We all love Colin's extras (please don't stop, Colin) but it's true to say I think that they sure must make cataloguing nigh on impossible.

Yes!!!!
This has kept me occupied for two entire evenings. And to find new Sporten variants after 4 years after being let loose on the world is quite incredible

you've done a super job Steve. Now all I need to do is scan the valentines, set up a new page for them, revise the lists with the new finds, scan the March Pharos and Wales and set up their pages, finish Looking Glass Land, Snark and Lundy and do something about the Strapper issues and then I'll be up to date.

Visitors from Thursday to Sunday don't give me much time this week I'm afraid. I'll do a smidge at a time.
