Plenty of variations on these stamps, with colour changes and imperforates. I've just been going through the stamps at askmeaboutstamps.com and these Laernu triangles caught my eye because they have a passing resemblance to my beloved Cape of Good Hope triangles. Is there a story behind them. And did you get to the bottom of the black letters in the corners? I do enjoy a mystery!
I have searched for any more information than this but this thread is all I can find.
How do they fit into the other stamps in the Laernu series?

Hi Jim
I'm going to jump in here before anyone else does!
The Laernu stamps were just produced for fun, though I had originally planned to produce a website for Laernu, I haven't quite got round to that yet! Each stamp has its backstory and in the fullness of time I will produce something thatties all of the artwork together. The story behind the dragons shown on the triangle stamps is a particularly important one as it relates to another series I had planned, and which again, one day, i will produce.
The letters at the top of some of the stamps were an early experiment in numbering sheets, and only appear on the very earliest of the issues. I quickly realised that numbering the stamp and sheets was going to cause a lot of organisational problems for me and headaches for the collectors so I rejected that as the stamps developed.
